(cover image courtesy of @joifish) First celebrated in 1992, October 10th is recognized as World Mental Health Day by the World Federation for Mental Health and the World Health Organization. Centered on education, awareness, and advocacy against social stigma surrounding mental health and mental illness, World Mental Health Day is observed internationally each year. This journal will provide information about World Mental Health Day, the theme for this year, and a variety of mental health resources for people who may benefit from them. This Year’s Theme The theme for World Mental Health Day 2022 is “Making Mental Health & Well-Being for All a Global Priority.” Access to mental health resources and professional services is varied around the world and often requires some level of affluence to take advantage of. This year’s goal is to work toward a world where everyone can access the mental health care they need. Resources In 2019 and 2020, DeviantArt consulted with Dr. Gina Alfonso
